Make yourself right at home
Welcome to the most colourful and cosy home in the village of Káto Pinés! The little house under the sun is truly one of a kind. Most Cretan village houses are small and without garden, but our island home is spacious -105m2- with high ceilings, and a 400m2 garden that will not leave you wanting. Ruben and I fell in love with its character straightaway, and with the alterations we have made, both house and garden have been restored to its former glory, with all the comforts of your modern-day home.
Bed & bathrooms
The house has two bedrooms and sleeps four people. The spacious master bedroom has a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with rain shower, toilet and sink. It also has a door that gives you access to the garden. The second bedroom is situated on top of the mezzanine, in the middle part of the house. The second and largest bathroom can be found underneath the mezzanine and comprises of a large rain shower, toilet, sink, and laundry machine.
Living room & reading nook
Underneath the mezzanine you will also find a second sitting area, where we’ve created a cosy ready nooks, with a comfortable armchair and lots of books to read!
The living room boasts a high ceiling, a dining table for four, that can be extended to seat six people, a sofa corner with a flatscreen TV, and a wood burner. From the living room, there is access to the garden as well as the little sitting area outside the front door. It is the perfect holiday destination for couples, families with two children, or of course, a getaway by yourself!

In the master bedroom
The en suite bathroom in the master bedroom comprises of a rain shower with Greek design tiles, a toilet and sink with beautiful walnut shelves for storage. Both bathrooms have just been renovated and are equipped with electric solar-powered boilers.
The kitchen
The kitchen offers the best of the 20th century, with all of the authentic features still intact. For cooking, however, we prefer the comforts of the 21st century. The kitchen is decked out with the following appliances:
